All children follow books linked to their phonics sessions in KS1, which is Monster Phonics at our school. Once children have completed the phonic reading books we have a colour coded selection of 'real' books for thenm to pick from. We have been guided by 'The Reader Teacher's' list of top 100 books to ensure that the children have a wide variety of quality texts to read.
